I think that the video and the lyrics connect to our delegation because the Jewish people of Israel and the Jewish people of the L.A are both in the dark, separate from each other and we, the tichon hadash delegation are the light that can bring to the awaited union, we are the light that can get out Israel and L.A and generally USA from the dark, we are the volunteer to change the people's life.

The video is about people getting ten dollars and doing something nice with the money. It refers to us as a delegation because we got something priceless and we can do magnificant things with it. I also agree with what alma said because I find her perspective on the jewish people totaly corect.

Moreover I think that we got a once in a life time opportunity to do something amazing, to change people's lives. I think that the connection between the song and our delegation is that us, the Israelis, came to a place that was not familiar to us, a place we heard of a lot about but didn't know how it actually feels like living there. In other words - we're in the dark, unknown. We slowly get to know the place, and we can say now that it wasn't exactly what we thought it is- "so take it back, say it's not what you'd have thought". The Americans are, too, in the dark - they don't how Israelis are. Together we are in the dark, however we will stay there together until the sun will come and we will all be in the light.
השבמחקIn addition, the movie shows how people can change other people's lives with the simplest things, and we are here to connect with the Americans, become close to them, and basically using this delegation, this experience, to change their lives.

מחקi think that conecting with the americans, brings as out of "the dark" by stoping think of each other things we heard about in the papers and news .
when we descover about the truth about each other- by living the american jewish and the israeli jewish life we understand more about the way they live and how they act- then is there we get to "their is eace", and we descover that "there is love", and then, is when we have to take it all ack- all those stereotyping and all those things you heard about the other.
and as yaara said- like in the video- the smallest things are what makes the biggest change in peoples life, the delegation is a small thing- that both sides love to do- will bring in the future a better conection between them.

I pretty much think the same as what they said, we are here in l.a. in order to experiance and understand the actual life here generally and especially as a jew and get to know the community here. The americans will do the opposite when they come to Israel and together we will connect the two communities together and pour some light on what we thought so far.

השבמחקI think that the song relates to the delegation because being here shed light on what we thought life in L.A will be like. We all had heard (and adopted) some prejudice or stigmas good or bad about life here (standing in the dark). Also we see that living a JEWISH life is different here.
השבמחקIf the song speaks about that we are all people, peace, Then the delegation brings jewish students from two big places of jewish comunity together, to see the lives of each other (and find similarities and differences), and bring us to the light.
The song is connected to the delegation because it talks about giving and getting. The delegation also based on giving and getting - going to another jewish community, knowing their life, behavior and manners, and then when they come to Israel, let them know us. "Standing in the dark" means for us to be alone, when our neighbors (Syria, Lebanon and etc) don't like us - we are alone in the dark. The light is the connection of us to the jewish community in LA. Between this "bad bad world" there is still peace and love, which we can see in this partnership.

The song is about giving the other from you, and in this video you can see that the people are helping each other by giving each other money to help them.
The lyrics are writen very nice about the world , and giving us inspiration about the world.
The line that I really liked in the song was: "There is love, There is peace,In this world" because if we will all believe and take a part in the world and help each other than its possible.
The line that really annoyed me in the song was: "Bad bad world" because this world isn't bad ,if we will help each other "survive in it"
The lyrics are very connected to the video , because the lyrics is about peace and long in the world and the video is helping us understand it better, by helping poor and rich people with money and helping them survive in this world.
We , the Israelis , are connected to this song because we are meant to be the connection between Israel and LA , the song is about giving and getting , and in our delegation it's the base.
We, the Israelis are send to go and investigate the community in LA , to explore there life, to be responsible for our behavior , and show them how we act in Israel.
The song is connected to our being a part of the delegation because it talks about being in the dark - something unknown and new for us and our case, I think this is Los Angeles and the Jewish community here.
